Transforming a respected dev house into a serious contender brand

When we first partnered with Exonic, they were already a respected force in cloud-native software development, technically sharp, trusted by their clients, and delivering impressive results across multiple sectors. But while they were busy solving complex problems for others, their own brand had been left behind.

Exonic’s identity felt generic, their messaging lacked clarity, and they didn’t have a compelling story that truly reflected the depth of their expertise or the care they brought to every build.

They weren’t struggling for business, but they were struggling to show the market who they really were. It was time for a bold repositioning: one that could match their capabilities with a brand story powerful enough to open bigger doors.

Despite delivering exceptional, future-proof solutions for their clients, Exonic’s own website told a different story, one that was flat, functional, and forgettable.

It leaned heavily on technical jargon and AWS terminology, but said little about the real value Exonic brought to the table: their ability to deeply understand a client’s problem, design the right solution, and build it with care and precision.

WHAT DOES THE CLIENT SAY?

I was reserved in taking the brand I love to A&E. I had seen the great work they'd done with other brands and i was extremely impressed, but I didn't want to change brand completely for the 2nd time in 3 years. So I asked if they could take us forward but not undermine what we have.

The results far exceeded my expectations. The team listened, that's important. They listened, and then they took us a few large steps forward. We started with a positioning workshop that really helped us articulate who we are - they guided us through defining our brand personality in a way that felt authentic, not forced. That personality work actually informed our approach to a marketing video we produced, and it made all the difference in how we told our story.

From there, they completely revamped our website while staying true to our core identity, created presentation templates that we use constantly and look incredible, and developed a content strategy that they didn't just hand over as a document - they showed us how to make it work in practice.
