THE CHALLENGE
The client’s challenge was to simplify medical billing by enabling real-time booking and invoicing through a user-friendly, fast, and affordable solution. Medical practitioners needed a system that was easy to adopt, while also empowering both doctors and patients by adding real value to their daily interactions. In addition, the platform needed to capture accurate medical data, automate routine administrative tasks, and ultimately shift perceptions around medical billing - from a frustrating necessity to a seamless, efficient process.
EXPERT PRODUCT REVIEW
UX / UI AUDIT
An expert product review and UX/UI audit was conducted on the existing Elle platform to assess usability, user flows, and overall experience. This helped identify pain points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring the product could better support users’ needs while aligning with business goals.

VISUAL IDENTITY
The colour palette plays a deliberate role in reinforcing trust, clarity, and usability within a medical context. Calming purples and blues establish a sense of professionalism, reliability, and care (qualities essential in healthcare environments) while softer accent colours are used to highlight actions, statuses, and important data without feeling overwhelming. These visual cues help users quickly interpret information such as payment states, schedules, or alerts. Combined with the clean, geometric Poppins typeface, the overall visual language feels contemporary yet reassuring, supporting accuracy, focus, and ease of use in a platform designed to manage sensitive medical and financial data.

The solution for Elle was designed as a modern, end-to-end medical billing and practice management platform that simplifies complex workflows while remaining intuitive and approachable for both practitioners and administrative staff. The interface brings together key functions - appointments, invoicing, patient management, claims, subscriptions, and reporting - into a single, cohesive system that supports real-time billing and efficient day-to-day operations. Clear information hierarchy, consistent layouts, and guided user journeys reduce cognitive load, helping users complete tasks quickly and with confidence.
INTERACTION AND UI STYLE GUIDE
The Interaction and UI Style Guide ensures a cohesive, consistent product design and user experience across the digital product. It defines and documents all essential UI and interaction elements, such as buttons, typography, colour usage, navigation patterns, input fields, and pop-ups, so that every interface behaves and appears consistently, supporting usability, clarity, and a seamless experience for users.
